My washing machine drum does not turn

No drum action during wash and or spin is usually down to a couple of components.

1) the motor

2) motor control card

3) motor carbon brushes

None of these are easy fixes, all of them require electrical knowledge and skill, so our best advice is to call a service engineer.

If you have spin and not wash action and or vice versa, you can usually rule out the belt as being the cause. Whilst no drum action can be down to a broken belt, it's easy enough to find the belt on the floor under the washer without internal investigation with the electro mechanical workings of the appliance.
