Hotpoint, now an Italian manufacturer who merged with Indesit when Antonio Meloni bought Hotpoint and Creda a few years ago. Since then further aquistions, have produced the company now known as Indesit Company, based in Peterborough within the UK.

Several brands are now merged and controlled by the Indesit Company, these include some well known former Uk brands, Hotpoint, Jackson and Creda as well as Electra, Philco, Scholtes, Ariston, Cannon, and New World.

Indesit Company makes all types of appliances across the whole range, washing machines, washer dryers, ovens and cookers, hob units (gas and electric), cooker hoods, refrigeration products, microwaves and spin driers including twin tubs.
