I have had a popup telling me I have a virus

Its more than likely a scam..... 

If a warning appears on your screen saying you are infected with a virus or spyware.... do NOT press anything on that screen.... DO NOT close that screen..... you WILL BE INFECTED.... press on your keyboard the following keys.... Hold down CTRL (bottom left) Keep it held down and then hold down the "ALT" key on the bottom left.... and press the "del" or "delete" key once.... this should bring up the task manager (or start the task manager from the list)..... locate "iexplorer.exe" (Note the letter I at the front... not explorer.exe but Iexplorer.exe) and click once with the left mouse button to highlight it, then click on the "end ... this will stop you getting infected.... and save you some money..... hope this helps..... please pass on to everyone you know..... we have had over 30 computer this week brought into the shop.... if you get infected it can take a good couple of hours to get rid of the problem.... hope this helps....
