Once again there are multiple reasons for this happening and here are the obvious ones:

1) Household supply has failed (fuse or circuit breaker tripped)

2) The wall socket and or plug has failed.

If your washing machine has power, that means there are indicator lights on the fascia panel it would suggest the fault lies with the washing machine rather than the power supply.

With modern electronic timer programmers there are often flashing lights during such a sudden fault, refer to your instruction book and look for a fault code guide which will indicate the area responsible for the stoppage. Make a note of the following as it will help an engineer to diagnose the problem:

1) how long had the programme been running when it stopped.

2) Is the washing machine full of water, is it wash water or clean water.
